Pleated cartridges separate viscous sediments and flat particulates. Use polyester cartridges for water filtration and polypropylene cartridges with harsher chemicals. Plastisol end caps. This cellulose cartridge is blended with polyester for improved wet strength, and yet has a lower cost than pure, non-cellulose designs. The polyester material allows more pleats to improve flow and dirt loading. Suitable to 125°F (52°C).
