DataScout Modems

- Single button operation: test communications, pair with station, and check battery status
- Tri-colored LEDs indicate battery level, data communication, and wireless signal/connection status
- DC port for optional AC/DC power adapter (Max 17VDC)
- Solar powered - includes rechargeable battery pack (2200 mAh, 7.2V NiMH), and 5W solar panel
- Includes SIM card, Cellular Data Plan required (see SpecConnect page for details)
- Required for connection to SpecConnect, sold separately

Connecting to a WatchDog Retriever
Order Item 3910 WatchDog Retriever (with non-rechargable batteries). The DataScout Modem and the Retriever will share the power from the solar panel
Connecting to a WatchDog 2000 Series Weather Station
The station must be running firmware version 7.6 or above. Call for details
Connecting to a WatchDog 2000 Series Mini Station
The station must be running firmware version 4.1 or above. Call for details
