These essentially inert syringes have PTFE-coated plungers (50- and 100-ìL models have stainless steel plunger with removable PTFE tip). Barrels and plungers are interchangeable within each syringe size, allowing field repair. The three syringe types are described below.

Removable Needle Syringes use a threaded hub and PTFE sealing ferrule that can be tightened to compensate for wear. Syringes include a 304 stainless steel needle with noncoring tip. Do not heat above 239°F (115°C); autoclavable when disassembled. Removable Needle Syringes use a threaded hub and PTFE sealing ferrule that can be tightened to compensate for wear. The syringes include a removable stainless steel needle, which is ideal when there is a risk of clogged needle. Autoclavable when disassembled. Repeated autoclaving will shorten syringe life.
Blunt needle point is ideal for use with HPLC injection valves and for sample pipetting.
