The Seta KV-2 is a two place low temperature viscosity bath designed to achieve ultra-high stability in the temperature range of +20°C to -40°C. The bath offers high stability of ±0.015 at -20°C and ±0.01 at -40°C. Temperature is measured by a PT100 probe, a twin display shows the current and set temperature. The instrument has a small footprint and is ideally suited for busy labs. It is fully self contained and requires no external chillers or connections. A heated top plate and viewing window prevent condensation and ice formation. The easy to use controller features large 13mm digits and high intensity, long life ultra-bright LED lighting ensures clear bath visibility at all times.
- Temperature range -40°C to +20°C
- High stability ±0.01 at -20°C
- Accommodates up to 2 standard viscometer tubes
- Illuminated Bath
- Insulated and heated viewing window
- Heated top plate
The bath has an independent over-temperature and low fluid level cut-out and a warning alarm for safety in the laboratory environment. Data logging via the external RS-232 port is possible when connected to a PC and suitable software.
The KV2 bath requires 2 Ubbelodhe Viscometer tubes. The maximum viscosity of jet fuel at -20C is 8 mm2/s so we recommend that one each of the following viscometers are used:
• Calibrated Ubbelodhe Viscometer size code 0B which has a viscosity range of 1 to 5 mm2/s.
• Calibrated Ubbelodhe Viscometer size code 1 which has a viscosity range of 2 to 10 mm2/s.
The insulated bath is sealed by 8mm thick glass front and rear with 60mm plexiglass providing additional insulation.
SUPPLIED WITH; 2 covers for test wells, mains lead and instruction manual.
