The MKS Automation Platform can be configured with a variety of I/O Modules, depending on the type sensors, actuators, valves, and other devices that are being integrated with the MKS Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) or the MKS CM. MKS I/O slices communicate to the MKS PAC or CM via the L-BUS or EtherCAT, creating a scalable distributed I/O system.

Analog Input/Output Module
MKS AIO modules provide a compact and high density solution for integrating analog input and output channels with MKS Automation Platform PAC or CM modules. AIO modules support a variety of input and output ranges, to interface any type of analog I/O with the MKS platform. Each AIO module supports 8 analog inputs and 4 analog outputs.
Supporting voltage inputs and outputs are configurable within the following ranges: 0-5V, 0-10V, ±5V, ±10V
AIO modules supporting current inputs and outputs are configurable within the following ranges: 0-20mA, 4-20mA
