- Heat Stress Index measures how hot it feels when humidity combines with temperature, air movement, and radiant heat
- In/Out WBGT function displays the heat index value with or without direct sun exposure
- Small, handy, and easy to operate
Designed to accurately determine the level of heat stress (how hot it feels outside) by factoring a combination of humidity, temperature, air movement, and direct solar radiation. These factors affect how hot the body gets, as well as its ability to cool down. The meter displays relative humidity, temperature, dew point, heat index, and wet bulb globe temperature (WBGT). A WBGT reading is produced through the use of a unique black globe on top of the meter. The globe monitors the effects of direct solar radiation on an exposed surface. An in/out function displays the WGBT value with or without direct sun exposure. Features include built-in memory that stores up to 50 readings, WBGT high/low alarm, °F/°C temperature selection, Min/Max and data hold, measurement mode, low battery indicator, and auto off with override.
