Constructed of durable, impact-resistant polycarbonate (PC), the DuraPorter carrier can safely transport biological and clinical samples from one location to the next. It can accommodate 13- and 16-mm tubes in 36- or 72-place tube rack or be used as one large storage space for larger samples or supplies. Insert separators (included) can be used to create smaller inner compartments.
The silicone watertight seal and three lid clasps provide a secure closure, keeping products and instruments inside clean and dry. Available in three colors for user identification, the transparent carrier enables you to visibly check sample integrity without opening the unit. Fold-down handle allows the carrier to be stackable. For samples that need to stay chilled, the entire carrier can be stored in a freezer or refrigerator. The carrier is autoclavable.
