These models are used for the representation of mechanical stresses under compressive load. The set contains five different models and is available as an accessory for FL 200 Photoelastic experiments with a transmission polariscope.
The models are made from polycarbonate, which is available in plate form. A carefully manufactured model plate can be used practically an unlimited number of times for qualitative demonstration purposes if handled properly.
In addition to the five models, the scope of delivery includes a support for the model as well as a bracket for initiating the load. The models can be attached quickly within the frame of FL 200.
