- Convenient kit provides the instruments and equipment you need for testing the pH of soil
- Obtain soil measurements without the "suspension effect"
The rugged Oakton® pH 6+ handheld pH meter features high, ±0.01 pH unit accuracy with up to five-point push-button calibration and autobuffer recognition. Switch between pH and temperature measurements with the press of a button. Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) ensures precise measurements from 0 to 100°C. Protective rubber boot that also acts as a meter stand.
The refillable, soil pH electrode has an extra-wide 7.5 mm ceramic junction to prevent clogging and provide a fast response. Soil electrode has a maximum use temperature of 176°F (80°C), measures 145 mm L x 12 mm diameter, and uses a silver/silver-chloride (Ag/AgCl) reference cell.
The kit is rounded off with Pyrex® glass beakers and Oakton® pH calibration buffer pouches. The graduated beakers feature pouring spouts and uniform wall thickness for optimum balance between thermal shock resistance and mechanical strength. All five beaker sizes have an extra large marking spot — perfect for sample labeling. An assortment of pH 4.01, 7.00, and 10.00 buffers and rinse solution help keep your testing system running smoothly and accurately. Don't do more dishes, calibrate the probe by placing it directly in the pouch.
